The book offers advice on how to solve any kind of problem that might arise when you travel with kids. The section about international tours shows a surprise for Italian people: its 'Top 10' list for beach holidays with children puts at the first place the South Coast of Sardinia.
According to regular haunters of the area, which includes Ogliastra, the explanation is true-life: 'Although you have to drive to the beaches, the water is clean, the sand is white and there aren't too many people: Sardinian beaches are far better than many on the Italian mainland'.
The result is outstanding if you think that Sardinia's adversaries, as we may call it, were very hard to beat: Australia, South-Africa, Hawaii, Cook Islands...
